Dear readers,

Everything comes to an end. This includes my web page now. I’ve maintained the web page for more than twenty years. Over the years I had to learn three different web page programs (apps, for the youngsters), and had two different servers (the first discontinued web pages after a few years). On the web page we showed pictures of FWCR; as it looks in spring, in summer, in fall, and, best of all, in winter. I showed pictures of fields of wildflowers, I showed pictures of snow drifts, many feet deep. You saw pictures of the big fire six years ago and the devastation it caused in FWCR. And pictures of the re-growth six years later. Pictures of dark blue sky and pictures of dark gray clouds; of sun, of rain, of snow, and of graupel. We had a beautiful time at our cabin. Never a dull moment. It is a sad time to leave all of this behind. But we’re getting old, and we consider it a prudent decision to leave as long as we’re able to leave in a vertical position instead of horizontally. As you certainly know by now, we’re moving to Santa Fe, which is not too far away from here, and, at 7,000 feet, not much lower in altitude. We decided to start a new life. But we will miss FWCR and the nice people who became our friends over many years of visiting each other, and, when necessary, of helping each other.
